Important change in student registration process for loan funded students
If you are approved for a student loan and plan to attend a NorQuest post-secondary program starting in September
2010, please be aware of this important change in the payment process for collecting tuition and fees.
Effective
immediately, if you receive a student loan, you will have all approved funding sent directly to you.
You will need to pay all tuition, program, students’ association, and health and dental fees directly to the
Cashier located in the Office of the Registrar at NorQuest.
It is your responsibility as a student
to be aware of fees owed to the College and to pay those fees when due. Payment of tuition and fees is due by the first day
of classes.
IMPORTANT: If any fees are outstanding by the midpoint of your term or session,
you will be withdrawn from your program and NorQuest College.
If you have questions about
this new student loan process, please visit the Student Financial Aid office located in Room 125, 10215 – 108 Street,
Edmonton or call 780-644-6130.

Blackboard Announcement: Student username changes
Important information for students
On Wednesday, July 21 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, we will be changing your 5 or
6 digit Blackboard username to match your official 7 digit student ID number by adding the required leading zeros.
E.g: If your Blackboard username was 5 digits long: 23456, it will be changed
to 0023456.
If your Blackboard username was 6 digits long: 234567, it will be changed to 0234567.
No changes will be made to Blackboard
usernames that are 7 digits (e.g.: 1234567)
Your password will not be changed.
If you experience difficulties logging in to Blackboard
after July 21, please email Blackboard at blackboard@norquest.ca or call Blackboard Support at 780-644-6087.
This
change is being made for the Fall 2010 integration between My Quest Student Portal and Blackboard.
